Neanderthals died out earlier than thought, new testing finds And that means they did coexist with modern humans for as long as we believed they did.
Do you believe that Neanderthals and humans coexisted? Do you believe there was interbreeding? How does new research change your opinions, if at all?

anyone’s thinking or opinion on human-monkey interbreeding would have to be purely academic i think… no?

why would anyone think about or form opinions on prehistoric possible interspecie reproduction :?

I had my DNA test done this year. According to my results, 2.7% of my DNA originated from Neanderthals.

Read something about neanderthals in last week wsj. Searched forum for neanderthals and came upon this thread.

It is known that most Europeans have Neanderthal heredity. It was thought that neanderthals went extinct earlier than thought. But apparently even 40000 to 45000 years ago, there were neanderthals existing in europe. There was intermingling. Information on tools was exchanged.

(I am so sure I had opened a thread on this topic circa 6 months ago.) Can the neanderthals in this forum please participate?
