ye lo, the meet account from my POV..
ok so after all the excitement and anticipation, the meet finally happened!!
in the morning T dropped me off in jersey close to Hinzie’s place… as soon as i got in the car, she stepped on the gas and we were doing 90 mph 
all of a sudden i get a call from T, “Look on ur right!” There he was… rite next to us… but not for long, as hinn was simply flying on the hwy… “OMG tell ur friend not to go so fast, she’s breaking all the rules!!!” he said. i told him, don’t worry, we’re planning on breaking even more rules rest of the day 
we were gupshuping all the way to Mahru’s… hin33 is hilarious… she really drives by instinct and u never know what she’s gonna do next :hehe: we passed thru fields and whatnot getting to Mahru’s and we thought we were lost… but we only got lost once.. called Mahru 600 times before we finally made it there.
Mahru welcomed us at the door… she looked diff from her pix, i guess i’d seen the ones where she was out of high school or somet… but she’s masha’Allah lovely and very softspoken and she proved to be an excellent hostess! her home was also done up very nicely.. and the food she cooked was exceptional! rite behind her i spotted GTG… omg, i love her voice over the phone… but in person, she was 
it was a real treat to see her… and then I spotted Sajal.. i’d no interaction with her whatsoever in any of the forums… but from the little i’d read of her self-description, i thought she’d be like one of those tall strapping and motee punjabi aunties… NOT!!! she’s so pretty masha’Allah and very down to earth straightforward no nakray person… it was great to meet her.
Since Muniya and SamSam were to show arnd 4, we decided to have our lunch. we had it out on the deck in the sun.. mahru had made bbq chicken, koftay (loved these, Mahru, and need the recipe) and we finally had those famous meat pies of hers… and she had shrimp orzo which i didn’t dare touch.. and chholay which were yummy (recipe plz) and i dunno if i’m missing out anything…

We heard Ahsan squealing and making a racket upstairs coz he was under room arrest with his dad and he wanted to meet his khalas.. so Mahru brought him down… we met her husband A (who must have thought us a bunch of wackos due to all the noise we made downstairs) and lil A was ADORABLE!!! very friendly and sociable, he went to all his aunts and submitted to their kisses and hugs without any fuss. poor fella had an ear infection, but he never cried abt it once
then just after Asr, Muniya and SamSam showed up… it was great to finally meet Muniya and see that bright radiant smile of hers in person. we had a great time taking lots of pics.. i didn’t get to talk to SamSam much, and thought she was a bit quiet, but not really shy…
then it was time for the GS cake to be brought out. We put a red line to cross out Shweetz’ name… that’ll teach her to not show at future meets! the cake was yummyyyyy!!!

by this time it was 630 and time to make a move. SamSam left with Hinn and me… we really got to know her in the car as we were all bukbuking faster than the car was moving :halo: hinn was dead tired by the time we made it to her place, she was ready to crash… loved her house… and her two great kids… really hinn u are lucky, they are masha’Allah angels! from there, it was back to ny for me after dropping samsam home.
a long but wonderful day for all the gals… this is proving to be an extra-sucky Monday in contrast. Thanks again Mahru for hosting this meet… everything was perrrrfect and thanks to A bhai for being a good sport!

Pictures would be wonderful… will put the whole meet in perspective for our better understanding and enjoyment and appreciation of those who take time out to meet other guppies.
