NDTV Imagine is launching its new reality TV show based on the BBC’s internationally successful format ‘Celebrity Sleepover’, called ‘Desi Girl’.
According to a company release, ‘Desi Girl’ will feature eight popular female personalities who will try and build a strong bond with four village families and win their hearts. Each celebrity will compete in a series of tasks and activities, characteristic of life in a village. Eliminations will take place every week over the seven-week run of the show.

The eight celebrities confirmed are: Anmol Singh, Roshni Kapoor, I****ta Arun, Rucha Gujarati, Kashmera Shah, Aushima Sawhney, Sambhavna Seth and Monica Bedi. ‘Desi Girl’ will be hosted by Rohit Roy.

‘Desi Girl’ starts in the UK on Saturday 22nd May and will be aired Friday - Sunday in a 90-minute block.

Neither of the girls are dressed as desi girls, the format of the show is a complete disappointment.

My family thinks it is an awesome show and even have it to be recorded on the DVR.

I personally find the girl Ishika strangely attractive.
