Re: NBA
Please don't tell me you're one of the MJ obsessive fanatics. Lebron, not even 23 yet, has achieved what Jordan never even dreamed about at the same age.
Lebron is bigger and stronger than Jordan. He grabs more boards, involves his teammates nicely and carries an otheriwse crap team. When he went off against the Pistons, we all saw what happened. He, at 22, is holding together an NBA franchise. Unbelievable.
I'll admit, he does need to win a ring but that'll come in time. He has already taken his side to the NBA Finals and do I need to remind you of Game 5 against the Pistons?
His 3-pt shooting is better than Jordan's and if he gets that FT% up to say 80, he will be the best ever.
LOL, you're havin' a laugh. Lebron is not even fit to hold MJ's jock. Heck, Kobe Bryant, who is clearly better than Lebron, is not on MJ's level either. Check out Mike's stats from his first four seasons:
Year Usg ORat DRat
84-85 31.4 118 107
85-86 40.4 109 107 ----- missed around 65 games due to injury
86-87 39.8 117 104
87-88 35.2 123 101
Now check Lebron's stats over his first four seasons:
Year Usg ORat DRat
03-04 26.9 99 104
04-05 28.8 114 103
05-06 31.4 115 104
06-07 29.7 112 100
(Usg is the percentage of possession while the player is on the floor, ORat is the points produced per 100 individual possessions while DRat is the points allowed per 100 opposition possessions)
After looking at those stats, how can you say than Lebron has achieved so far what MJ can't even dream of? The differences in rebounds and assists per game is negligible, as it is easily off-set by Jordan's superiority on steals, blocks and assist/turnover ratio.
In short, Jordan was an offensive juggernaut who could dominate the game against ANY team. Lebron has not proved anything yet.
