I am looking for reviews on Nazzakat. It was an indian clothing store in Hicksville, NY.
I am a little skeptical about having my suits made from Pakistan without actually being there, or speaking to someone that can direct the karigar. I am willing to pay a little more if I can have a peace of mind.
I found this store while visiting a photographer. I thought their lenghas were absolutely gorgeous!
They stated they would be able to have a custom lengha made for me, in my style, choice of colors, and they can provide direction on the kaam I can afford to get in my price range. I will be needed two lenghas, (barat/Waleema).
Do you ladies have any reviews on this shop?
I did have one problem. I walked into the store because interested in the lengha in the window, when I asked to try it on, the woman at the store asked her husband, and he said its too much work to take it off the mannequin in punjabi. I dont think he knew we spoke Urdu. I guess they also knew I wasn’t ready to purchase at the moment. Don’t you guys think that is kinda lazy, or bad?
Also, I was at a conference, some desingers were there.. I guess they are all in the US since the conference was here in NY
If you can spend a lot .. i recommend this.. they carry hsy, umar sayeed and all the big big desinger clothes are located in PA.. TDL - They have a website too www.thedlounge.com They have nothing on their website really. What they have in their store is beautiful..
Another one, Attache Couture in LI, Hicksville and Manhattan. I believe with them, you have to take an appt. www.attachecouture.com
Another is www.rubycouturier.com have no clue where they are located. I just have so many business cards from the conference.
I haven’t tried any of the websites so I don’t know accept the first one. I am just giving the info off the business cards. Most of them I believe have nothing online to look at. You’ll have call them or visit them to be able to see their collection.

I really cant afford to spend too much :(. My budget was previously about $2000 per suit, but now I have brought it down to $800 - $1500 per suit. I really want swarovski crystals, or another stone that is cheaper but can make the suit glitter.
You can't visit PA?? I think the first store I mentioned is totally worth the trip. They are expensive yeah but they have some WOW stuff in their store. I am sure you can find somethin in that budget there.. or you can call them to see if they'll send you pictures of what they have according to your needs.

Hmmmm, PA is sort of out of my way. I live in DC, but my wedding will be in NY, and I will pass through Jersey on the way.
Also Nickie and Nina did their exhibition too at the conference and if I am not mistaken Umar Sayeed is doing his in Long Island City soon. They are advertising it on Pakistani channels.
