Tom, lets take a present day example. 2 years ago, the Swiss paid war-reperations to the jews. Why? Nobody knows, but everybody was pissed. The Swiss were not involved in the war. So why should they pay? But they paid with the tax payers money. 2 years ago. The Jews didnt let the Swiss forget it even 55 years later. Yet it was over and done with in 1945.
But they are. Ask a german if he is happy with all the immigrants? He would lie and say yes. Becuase if he didnt he would be classified as a racist. These people live in constant fear of the past.
NYA i would reply, but i am off to see Edward Said at the bagel shop you two meet at. He was wondering why you never show any more.
And, if that were the case, the Egyptians should be paying the Jews considerably more!! How far do we turn back the clock to try and right the injustices that virtually all nations and races have committed against others?
Mr. Pockets, when were the blacks considered equal? 1965. When were the jews massacred? 1945. 20 years difference. Yet the atrocities that are older are paid for. But the recent crimes are not paid for. That is not justice.
CM what are you upset about anyway, that people still remember and mourn the 6 million killed? The payments given to survivors of the holocaust or the lack of black reparations from all the countries who used slaves?
Ok now please enlighten me UTD and tell me how much the Swiss govt paid? Also it says german assets? Does that mean they have to the wealth of the jews?
If you have an interesting point to make please do so, otherwise let me enjoy myself!
Hey didn't the Jews forcibly take the gold from the Egyptians during the Exodus?....You know the stuff they fashioned into the calf. It is believed by some scholars that it was Sumerian influence (Sumerians worshipped the bull above all other gods and are thought to have also been under the yoke of the ruling Egyptians and left with the Ya’hudi) sprinkled amongst the 12 tribes that led to fall into paganism during Moses’ sojourn on the mountain.
I digress, back to the original topic, or rather not….yawn.
Mr. Pockets then why did Martin Luther King Jr. have to do so much to make the black man equal to the whites? Wait i bet he was a figment of my imagination. Whatever the Emp. Dec. said in 1863, it wasnt put into practice across the US until 1965.
