This is a message for all those who are pregnant and will one day become pregnant.
A friend of mine has a really sick baby… They are family friends with the Imam of Masjid an-Nabi (in Medina). He came to their house a week or two ago for their son’s aqeeqah… MashAllah the Imam has a really precious gift from Allah (SWT). He is able to look at someone and tell whether they have nazar on them and why they are sick.
So as soon as he looked at the infant, he said that when the mother was pregnant with the child, between 6 to 9 weeks, someone had done nazar on the mother which then passed through to the child.
I can’t stress how important it is to read all your Quls as well as Dua Manzil even when you aren’t pregnant, but especially when you are.

and how exactly is the guy playing God? everyone knows nazar exists and the imams who deal with this issue can tell you what evil eye/black magic has been placed on a certain person... please check your sources before speaking about this issue as well as this Imam in a derogatory way...

Question-how do they know or how can they tell exactly? How do you know the child isn't sick for some other reason? There must be some reason for the child's sickness. How long has the child been sick? What has the doctor said?

If i was totally dumb on religious side i would totally believe you .Nazar is valid but never seen it passed on to babies.But your message is right.Quls are strong and said to keep one safe from problems/afat.Its said ke babies listen to sounds and no wonder desi ammas tell pregnant women to recite Quran as much as they can so it has a good effect on the baby.

Its not just mollahs, our people believe in all this non-sense! Like I mentioned elsewhere, they just need excuses, be it jinns or kala/white jaadu or any other rhetorical hogwash they can come up with.

i dont believe in imams telling things like that just by looking at someone anyhow i'll really advise the mother to take her child to the doctors and get the treatment for him.
imam told her about her son's illness due to nazar but is he going to tell her the cure for it or how her son can be back to healthy?????
tell her to take her son to the doctors before its too late.
