as far as i understand this word, it could really be:
-either neesh [noon, ye, sheen] which is a Faarsii word meaning “nok (sharp N pointed end, Dunk (stinger)”
-or nestii [noon, ye, seen, te, chhoTii ye] which is a compound Faarsii word (nah = no)+ (astii = is) meaning naa-paid/ma’doom/fanaa = non-existent. it also has implied meanings as kaahili / tasaavolii / nahoosat / bad-luck / poverty / bancruptcy etc
