I must say that his speech was awesome and like a true National Leader and I’m expecting the same kind of speech from IK, only if wants to be true National Leader. We should care for Pakistan first and then our Ego.

I'm no fan for NS or his party, but he won & people have Pakistan have spoken. Lets respect people's mandate & if they failed to perform they will be booted out next time around. PPP & ANP should learned a lesson from this & reform their parties. Btw, congrats to PTI, too. Let see what they can do for KP in next 5 years.

I am pretty sure that PML-N would do a much better job than PPP on the economic front. The PPP-led coalition was clueless from the word go and was seen to be extremely incompetent and corrupt by many. Incompetent ministers like Bilour, Rehman Malik, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf etc. did not help
It is no good claiming to be secular & liberal (the masses couldn't care less) if you can't provide good governance or basic amenities to the people

I strongly agree with you and wish that this wheel of democracy should not stop. Yes if PML N will not perform then I"ll be the first one who will vote against them But give them full chance and and I am sure after 2 or 3 elections people will get political awareness and never act like Blind Followers.
I’ve spoken with my many friends who support PTI and wish to to bring IK as Civil Dictator, we can’t afford any Dictator now

Everyone does mistake n no one is perfect and it is difficult to make everyone please. So if PMLN has done some mistakes in past yet they have learned a lot and have delivered too as best example is peace in Punjab..Alhamdolillah no bombing n terrorism etc. No doubt SS did a lot in past tenure and they have best team of technocrats, experts, and they can bring the country out of major problems soon. They also know that if they are fail to bring the country out of major problems then it’s going to be their last chance too. Imran khan is working on someone’s agenda. It’s clear as how he is spending millions n millions on adverts n campaign as his both past projects were formed with public fund raising. He is victimizing only PMLN because Punjab is on road of development, and Khan is introduced by some lobby to divide vote for PMLN in order to stop them forming federal govt so that this country could never progress. Khan has no experience and he has young ppl who will take years in learning experience. He might prove to be a good opposition leader to put pressure on govt. but cannot be suitable for heading the country. We should not waste our vote for PTI and should vote for PMLN as they can only meet the challenges n **if God forbid they’re unable to deliver then we can think to vote PTI next time. **But for all burning issues like load shedding, gas, terrorism…we can rely on PMLN. Khan has admitted himself in Kamran Khan Show that PMLN has picked up all best experts during past two years while PTI was busy in internal elections. New elected govt has to face challenge of budget soon and they have experts like Ishaq Dar so if you think wisely then vote for PMLN this time. Khan was my favorite cricketer but the languages he has been using spoiled his image n he doesn’t seem a scholar from Oxford and he is asking the youth to hold bat and beat everyone…see his new ads what lesson he is giving to our youth??? Josh sy nehi Hosh sy kam lain Punjab aur Lahore waly. Vote only PMLN. Spread my message by posting on your wall for the sake of welfare of our country.

Yes i agree SS got emotional (and i didn’t like his words) like IK but its natural but NS handled the matter quite wisely.

True. As saying goes all politics are local. Personally, I think it would be better if NS follows Sonia Gandhi's model and let someone else be the PM even if it is SS. I think SS is a much more capable administrator than NS, but lets I hope if he decided to keep PM's post for himself... he wont try to appoint himself ameerul momineen again.

The great thing about the PML and Nawaz, is that you have already seen part one, and the sequel is probably not so different.
Im guessing he will declare himself the amir al momineen, get into a conflict with the judiciary and step on the toes of the military, come up with a whole host of political gimmicks, and leave having inaugurated another massive project or two like the Motorway...

No, I think this time NS would be keen to complete his 5 years and would therefore not take panga with the military or judiciary. He might even decide not to contest the next election in 2018 as he would be 68 then (just guessing). He might let SS become PM if they win again
One of his topmost priorities surely w'd be to choose the right person to replace Gen. Kayani as COAS in Nov 2013. Hopefully this time the appointment will be made on merit or seniority

Well, last time he tried to replicate Afghan Taliban version in Pakistan & he saw himself as a Pakistani version of Mullah Omer. Just imagine if he had succeeded. Lets not forget that he shut down media, went after courts (his supporters attacks the SC) & went after the military. Frankly, I don't trust the guy b/c he is not a democrat or believes in the concept of share governance in a democracy where dissenting voices are allowed. Lets hope that hes has become a pragmatic elder statesman, and the country won't be worse off 5 years from now then it is now.
