NEW DELHI: The mango season may be on its last leg in India but in Pakistan the fruit is still sweet enough to temper the bitterness in ties between India and Pakistan.
After the recent acrimony over Pakistan high commissioner Abdul Basit’s meeting with separatists, which forced India to cancel the foreign secretary-level dialogue, PM Nawaz Sharif has made an attempt to reach out to his counterpart Narendra Modi. Sharif, according to top sources, sent a box of choicest Pakistani mangoes — mostly Sindhri and Chausa — to Modi.

May be Modi likes mangoes or NS is too enthusiastic in sending mangoes so he could get some business deal for himself, his family and/or his entire clan.

Did NS also sent a letter with Mango that? ... 'Soon he would seek political asylum in India, and hope that his brother Narendra Modi would oblige him'.
If Narendra Modi has any care for his country, he should be careful, as this Thug can bribe institutions to destroy the country, and has capability to even destroy India from within, as he knows how and to who he needs to throw Haddi so that the institutions become his personal loyal servants.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 1: President Pervez Musharraf has sent several boxes of mangoes to Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee as a goodwill gesture.
“Mangoes are sent to a number of world leaders every year,” a Foreign Office spokesman told Reuters on Thursday. “This has been going on for more than 25 years.”
Pakistani mangoes are some of the best in the world and are exported to several Middle East countries and Europe.
The official said the mangoes were delivered to the Indian prime minister through the Pakistan embassy in New Delhi.—Reuters

haha seriously? He wants to flee, but NS wont let him. Btw, NS spend 6 months in jail. Can Mush survive 6 months in a Pakistani jail?
Kia app ko Musharraf ki personality jail kay qaidi wali lagti hia.? Nawaz to kiya.. uski ainda aani wali naslain bhi Mosharf ka koch nahi kar sakti... aur yeh bila wajah ki treason case jo lagya howa hia... mosharaf uss say darta warta nahia....
aur izzat aur zillat insan kay ikhtiyar main nahi hia... jaisay kartooty hian.. wesi hi jail hai....
