grassroots political movements from well intentioned outsiders i.e. not from the political circles and families are doomed from the get go. Look at Imran khan, public figure, well known, fairly respected, but has he ben able to really make much of an impact.
This has to be a grassroots movement, chane will only come when people rise up against it, but the general apathy in pakistan is evident. Maybe people feel that they dont count or whatever they do will not matter.
I have written numerous letters to the last 2 adminstrations and asking them to pass a law that anyone under investigations and indicted for corruption can not run for office until the investigations are concluded, and anyone who is proven guilty is banned from politics. I dont get responses :)
