what is the schedule?
i think now this will happen, because first the energy policy has been unveiled and approved by all provinces (also partially enforced) several thieves caught, security policy has been drafted and ready for "extracts" to be discussed, and there is border tension. he has got material to discuss and take people in confidence.

he dumped the malba on previous governments...he offered to negotiate with terrorists [stick N carrot strategy], he wants 5 years to completely overcome the energy crisis...
...i think he hasn't done his home work...he wants to negotiate with terrorists NOT with strength but with weakness...his demeanor was of a battered prime minister...he was successful in deflecting the issues and maintain status-qua.
i personally feel that nothing will change for now...he must be politically pressurized to do0 more.

I wonder why he always has to add a couple of lines in his speech, feigning ignorance, and expressing surprise at how bad the situation was in Pakistan before they took over. "mein to hairaan hoon kay yeh kaisey ho gaya, woh kaisey ho gaya, ab kya karein gey, yeh paisa kahan sey aye ga".
He was right 2 months back when he said that he didnt address the nation because he didnt have anything to say. He should have used the same reasoning this time around

The speech was generalized, he didnt touch on specifics (as to how he'd go about achieving them). Terrorism seemed to be low on priorities.
