Nawaz has power of vote, his popularity is growing , law is amended and party is his, party is not broken. This is good. Take the war to them, have agitation on streets, hard hitting lawyers that will hit JIT members (Asma jehamgir ??) hard will be good. The difference this time is PMLN didn’t break.

Some of the analyst were already predicting that this NS is different that NS of 99. At that time he was very much scared of Jail and not wanted to be in Jail at any cost hence they had deal and run away. Now he has learned lesson from Zardari that Jail increases political height of politicians. He is missing this so he most probably is very much ready to go in Jail ( for the sake of political career of his children )

wow this is some picture. No its not like it for him. It could have been if party was broken and NA 120 lost and No GT road power show. The road is wide ahead. He is cunning politician, all of his cards are hidden and political muscle on table with agitation on streets, remaining party head, majority in Senate in March are all in his favor. If he doesnt get workers to agitate, chances are establishment have realized he aint going any where and clean chit is eminent otherwise a GT style public approach, getting people out will be the way. Its first time and that too in lLahore, Punjabies stood by Military vehicles chanting for NS. Army should know Punjab is last place they need an anti army wave which is not in full swing.
NS will be quite alright, will have a major victory in 2018.

جمعہ کے روز سینیٹ میں وفاقی وزیرقانون زاہد حامد نے الیکشن بِل میں ترمیم شدہ بل منظوری کیلئے پیش کردیا۔ سینیٹ کے چئیرمین رضا ربانی کا مؤقف تھا کہ اس بل میں پیش کی گئی ترمیم پہلے سے ہی انڈر ریویو ہے اور قواعد کے تحت اگر کوئی ترمیم پہلے سے زیرغور ہو تو اس میں مزید ترمیم پیش نہیں کی جاسکتی۔ رضا ربانی نے اس کی اجازت دینے سے انکار کیا تو ن لیگ کے سینیٹرز نے احتجاج کیا جس پر رضاربانی نے ترمیم کی اجازت دینے کے معاملے پر رائے شماری کروالی اور اکثریت نے اسے پیش کرنے کی اجازت کے حق میں ہاں کہہ دی۔
رضا ربانی کو لگا کہ یہ اس کے مؤقف اور ایوان کے قواعد کی شکست تھی، چنانچہ اس نے احتجاجاً واک آؤٹ کردیا اور جے یو آئی کے ڈپٹی سینیٹر عبدالغفورحیدری نے اجلاس کی صدارت سنبھال لی۔
رضاربانی کے واک آؤٹ کرنے کے بعد تحریک انصاف کے اراکین نے احتجاجاً واک آؤٹ کرنے کا اعلان کیا کیونکہ ان کے خیال میں رضا ربانی کو واپس لایا جانا چاہیئے تھا۔ اس دن ایوان میں پی ٹی آئی کے 7 میں سے 6 اراکین حاضر تھے۔ جب وہ واک آؤٹ کرکے باہر گئے تو پیچھے سے اعتزاز احسن نے بطور اپوزیشن لیڈر نے نااہل شخص کی پارٹی صدارت نہ سنبھالنے کی ترمیم پیش کردی۔ یہ وہ ترمیم تھی جو تحریک انصاف نے تجویز کی تھی اور اپوزیشن کے ساتھ وسیع تر اتحاد کے زریعے پیش ہونا تھی۔
جب اعتزاز احسن نے ترمیم پیش کی تو پی پی کے ایک رکن نے باہر جا کر پی ٹی آئی کے اراکین کا مطلع کیا، اس وقت پی ٹی آئی کا نعمان خٹک کسی ضروری کام سے پشاور روانہ ہوچکا تھا، پیچھے موجود 5 سینیٹرز بھاگم بھاگ واپس آئے اور انہوں نے اپنی ترمیم کے حق میں ووٹ ڈالا۔
ترمیم کے حق میں 38 اور مخالفت میں 39 ووٹ آئے۔
سینیٹ میں پیپزپارٹی کے 27 اراکین ہیں جن میں سے 3 غیرحاضر تھے، اس کے علاوہ ایم کیو ایم کے 8 میں سے 7 غیرحاضر تھے، اے این پی کے الیاس بلور سمیت دوسرے اراکین بھی غیرحاضر تھے۔ ایم کیو ایم کے واحد رکن نے اس ترمیم کی مخالفت میں ووٹ ڈال کر ن لیگ کی حمایت کردی۔ اگر پی ٹی آئی کے اراکین ووٹ نہ ڈالتے تو کبھی بھی اس ترمیم کے حق میں 38 ووٹ نہ آتے۔
پچھلے دو دن سے جماعتی دانشوڑوں نے رٹ لگا رکھی ہے کہ تحریک انصاف کی وجہ سے نوازشریف کے پارٹی صدر بننے کی راہ ہموار ہوئی۔ جماعتیوں کی یہ بات اتنی ہی غلط ہے جتنا یہ دعوی کہ ان کی جماعت اپنی غلطیوں سے سبق سیکھتی ہے۔
حضور، پی ٹی آئی کے 7 میں سے 5 اراکین اس وقت ایوان میں موجود تھے اور انہوں نے اعتزازاحسن کی پیش کردہ ترمیم کی حمایت کی تھی لیکن جے یوآئی اور ایم کیو ایم جیسے ***حرام سینیٹرز کی وجہ سے یہ ناکام ہوئی۔
اور ہاں، جماعتی آپ کو یہ کبھی نہیں بتائیں گے کہ اس دن ان کا اکلوتا سینیٹر سراج لالہ خود بھی ایوان سے غیرحاضر ہی تھا۔ شاید جمعہ کے مبارک دن لالہ سراج محنت مزدوری کرنے کی بجائے ذکر اذکار کرنے کو ترجیح دیتا ہو۔
یہ تھی اصل کہانی جو دو دن سے تحریک انصاف کے نااہل میڈیا کے لوگ عوام کے سامنے پیش کرنے سے قاصر رہے!!! بقلم خود باباکوڈا
