lol… For someone who claims to have “educated” himself, you certainly seems to have a short memory span…
You dont need to be “educated” to know whats been going on for the past 10 years, you only needed to be alive and have a minimally functioning cerebral cortex.
No one is watching FOX News, and Fox news is hardly covering the Pakistani Taliban.. And yes, WE literally arent the ones reasoning with the Taliban, but the people who ARE trying to or have, are either convinced they are beyond reason, or are still deluded enough to believe they can be reasoned with (like Imran and Nawaz since they have never had to be in direct negotiations with them), are in for a surprise when they realize that negotiations are impossible with people whose sole purpose is to topple the very state their in negotiations with.
Pakistan has tried peace with these people, they practically gave Swat to the Taliban. Each time the process failed. The problem is that the Taliban do not abide with the agreements. The conditions the Taliban hold out are things that are unacceptable.
Beyond this, I dont see how any self respecting human being, particularly a Muslim, following a faith in which justice is so central, could ever negotiate peace with mass murderers… How would you feel if you were related to one of their victims?
