Yeah but Vaughn impressed me , played really well !!

Heath Streak is one of the really few quality allrounders left in world cricket along with Kallis and Cairns.
Imagine had he played for another team, he would have definitly been a superstar.

I think the way ball was swinging and jagging, England was really saved by rain.

Bowler like hondo was moving the ball both sides, amazing

Michael Vaughan reacts as Jacques Kallis piled up runs!

Jacques Kallis in Business!

A great knock of 82 runs by Kallis, made him second time, MoM in the series. What a performance; and a very good welcome back!

Micheal Vaughan must have thought that in the light, Anderson and Gough, will have a good chance of swinging ball but unfortunately things didn't work it. Ball didn't seems to be swinging, English got almost no support from the condition, as South Africa cruised to victory, jumped on first spot on the table pts.

Another good news for South Africa is that bowlers did their job. Pollock had a wonderful spell. So did Nithni.

England had trouble from the beginning. Vaughan and Vikram went cheaply! Marcus and Anthony put a great fight and at one moment, the rate run was over 4. But as Marcus and MacGrath got out, the English Middle Order collasped. Thanks to the Ashely Giles and Chris Read, England made to 223, otherwise, they would have bowled out under 200 runs.

I watched the whole match and the SA bowlers did their job. On the other hand, English bowlers got no assistence from the pitch, but other than Flintoff, no other bowler seemed to be threating. Well played SA :k:

gyles was required to perform but he disappointed.

Kallis is very much in business.

BTW wht is the new SA captian performing. I think waqar cud also be the captain then

Gibbs - Back to Classic Form

It’s South Africa all the way with bat, ball and in the outfield. Gibbs returned to his form after having some bad time. Jacques Kallis, who has been fantastic with bat, took three-wicket and Shaun Pollock, man, what can I say? He has turned into a economical machine and I reckon he might become the Best Economical Bowler in the ODI soon!

[thumb=C]Kallis1.JPG[/thumb]

South Africa’s Jacques Kallis, right, celebrates his dismissal of Zimbabwe’s Dion Ebrahim.

Zimbabwe had no partnerships. They had trouble from the start and were 38-3 in 16 overs. Heath Streak was the only batsman, who stood infront of Kallis, Polluck and Nithni, carrried the whole burden by himself but 174 runs wasn’t enough. Now, I feel bad for Zimbabwe. They’ll have to travel 6-8 hrs for their next match tomorrow against England. I think it’s unfair with the Guest teams. South Africa faced the same back-to-back match situation; and now Zimbabwe is in the same situation. Why not No-Back-to-Back matches for England, huh?

Andy Flintoff - MoM

This is a sick looking scorecard. You have a total score less than 100 runs; and the extras are in double figures from both sides. What a disgrace to Cricket. Nevertheless, Andy Flintoff had a terrific day!

It seems Zimbabwe is out of the series.

Dion Ebrahim is my vote for "player-who-has-been-given-the-most-chances-but-failed-to-perform" for this cricketing year. What a rut he's in.

Can't think of anything besides his fielding that he's riding on.

ahemmm.....Look in your giraban first, forgot Afers. ;)

Affers would qualify, but then, I don't consider him a 'cricketer' to begin with. ;)

josheela lapaaro who can whack 10 balls out of 50 without even spotting where the fielders are at first, before launching into them.

Your point is?

Great performance by England. They totally dominated the series against South Africa, who were collasped in the Final. Let’s see how this young England team performs outside home-ground. :k:

Gremme Smith must be drolling…

It was your point - South Africa will stroll through the series and blah blah blah..A pathetic England Team beat the Crap out of the South Africans.
