Re: NatWest Challenge 2005 - England V Australia
England is going to win this one where are those who were saying Australia will white wash.

Re: NatWest Challenge 2005 - England V Australia
Seems like the team that wins the toss will benefit more from the sub than the other team. The team that wins the toss and if they chose to field first they can have their best bowler bowl the 10 overs and than replace him with their best batsman.
Re: NatWest Challenge 2005 - England V Australia
Each team will designate a 12th man who will be able to bat or bowl. The teams are permitted to replace a player at any stage of a match with the 12th man. The replaced player will be ruled out of the rest of the match while the replacement will be entitled to assume any remaining batting or bowling duties. Both players will receive a cap.
Fielding restrictions will be in place for the first ten overs of the innings, rather than first 15 - but then there will be two blocks of five overs later on in the innings where the regulations come back into effect, although there will be no need for the two close catchers at that point. These overs are known as the Powerplay Fives, and will be taken by the fielding captain at his discretion.
Re: NatWest Challenge 2005 - England V Australia

Re: NatWest Challenge 2005 - England V Australia

Re: NatWest Challenge 2005 - England V Australia
so this move will allow hogg to bowl full 10 overs since he has no replced watson who already bowled 3.
Now watson can also comeback to bowl if he is fit enough
