Security is a seperate issue. As, I have mentioned, that the new port of gwadar will have facilities to liquify gas for the countries such as Japan and South Korea - bigger markets than India for gas consumption. Both of these countries have shown interest in importing gas. The liquifaction facilities are included in the overall design of Gwadar Port, and will be built regardlessly, since Pakistan also has an option to import gas from Iran or Qatar. India does not :)
You have not provided a solid evidence as to why India is necessary for the project, apart from "I said so", which is a weak argument.

outlaw,
In the case of Natural Gas from Turkmentistan it would make sense if this Natural Gas was “piped” through Iran’s Port of Chah Bahar. and then Liquefied as LNG and exported to Japan and South Korea.
The reason why such Natural Gas for Export as LNG to Japan and South Korea will go through Iran’s Port of Chah Bahar is that if the Turkmenistani Natural Gas is exported as LNG via Chah Bahar then the Pipeline will pass through only one country thereby attract one set of Transit Dues whereas if it goes via Afghanistan and Pakistan then it will attract Two sets of Tranist Dues.
I think that this Pipeline is fully viable if it provides Natural Gas to Pakistan only
