Chaman is a border crossing while gawadar is a port. It is comparing apples and oranges literally!
@Captain: I don’t think soldiers go through the land route, except initially when americans deployed in October 2001. I remember reading that Marines had made a beachhead in pasni in one of their biggest wartime amphibious operations in recent times.
