The concept of “ummah” as can be translated by mentioned hadith is strictly in collision with the concept of nationalism and Patriotism. I dont think there are any Geographical boundaries allowed (or suggested) in the light of defined ummah.

I may be wrong but its up for discussion

love for homeland is natural, and I think is ok as long as it does not exceed brotherhood.
