As I said he is a turncoat, I don’t remember his current party. probably PML(N). There were rumors that he might join PTI or PPP.

Its similar in India - till the time I lived there, my parents and I supported different parties.

Btw, even in the US my spouse & I support different parties :D

Seriously speaking though, there is ideological variance in my immediate family, and when I look at cousins it's even greater.
