This is a question for all the Pakistanies Living abroad and I want honest replies.
Today a friend called and I asked him do you still remember the National Anthum of Pakistan…..he asked me do you ?….I said I don’t know…let’s sing and we’ll find out……and I discovered that:
I still remember the complete National Anthum

Yup. I remember it. But thats probably cos I spent Junior High at Karachi Grammar School, and we had to sing the anthem every morning at assembly :)So, Ive never forgotten it. Another reason could be that I come to Pakistan twice a year for my holidays and I guess that helps in a way..you know..listening to it on tv, radioo etc.

I think can start it but will get lost somewhere in the middle. But if somebody sings along with me, I will most likely be able to follow.
This reminds me of a joke:
During a war, Army X took control of an important bridge. While guarding, an injured soldier drags himself to the bridge and asks to be helped and be let into the Army X's area. The patrolmen aren't sure if he's from their side or the opposing side so they ask him to sing the national anthem to prove his allegiance. The injured soldier says,"Are you kidding, I have no idea how my anthem goes." The soldiers say, "You're indeed one of us, welcome"

Umm..well since I was born in Canada..I know the Canadian National Anthem…english & french versionz…but as for the Pakistani Anthem…don’t know it

As for me , i did forget it , but then i downloaded it so i listen to it almost everyday. Oh yeah i am an patriotic one ;)
i grew up in amrika. dont know the pakistan national anthem. i know the american one only. sorryyyyyyyy, im gonna bow my head down now. i need to get educated.

It is not my guilty that i had bad urdu teacher at my shcool. now he is social client!! I saw him with bad muud for couple of days ago. not strange that he was fired from the shcool where i used to go....he couldnt teach away the knowledges.
