ISLAMABAD: The 65th death anniversary of founder of Pakistan‚ Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed today across the country, SAMAA reported Wednesday.
Numerous special ceremonies have been planned across the country. Different vital political leaders, government functionaries and social personages including governor and Chief Minister of Sindh will lay floral wreaths and offer Fateha at Quaid’s mausoleum today.
Different sittings of Quranic recitation will be held countrywide including the one at the mausoleum of the Quaid in Karachi. Special prayers will be offered in mosques for the departed soul of the Quaid.
Several public and private organizations and educational institutions have scheduled functions to highlight different aspects of the life of Quaid-e-Azam who united the Muslims of the Subcontinent for acquiring a separate homeland. –SAMAA
