Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
I told you something is really wrong with them. Some senior players want to treat Symond as .... Ponting needs serious treatment as do many others.
Now Symonds was most probable for run out and he was run out at the end, I could not state any source for it too. Any way since he is declared run-out after all; Eng is favorite now, thanks to umpires and Hussy; unless Symonds doesn't deliver with his bowling. See behavior from other players too.
After Symonds: 224 -5
Now: 236 -7
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
47th over. A wicket maiden ![]()
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
236-7 in 46
excellent over from harmison
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
What does that mean? Symonds made a mistake. He apologized in public and has moved on. Are you inspired by Waheed khan in any way?
Do you really think he was targetted for a run out?
Dude it was his fault he stood there in the middle of pitch and waited Jones to take bails off. Hussey tried to save him by running all the way.
And you really expect Symonds to perform from the bowling point of view? If you consider him as a serious threatning bowler, I suggest you should watch cricket more and more as well has check his bowling figures out (of course excluding bangaldesh)
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
brett lee trying his best to clear the field
4 runs
lets see if he can manage a 6
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
Gough takes his third wicket. Aus 254-9.
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
254-9 in 48.5 gillespi gone

Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
This innign could ahve been over by now but Lee was dropped on 4 by Vaughan off Gough. 16 preciuos runs he added since then.
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
Waheed Khan is not as intelligent to suggest what will actually happen. He is a man of rumors. :)
Sir, the moment Symonds came in, it was sure he will be run-out or go for a century, I stated above well-before he was run-out.
Well Aus has got better fast bowlers and batsmen than England. If English fast bowlers can trouble Ponting and company, then Aus fast bowlers must do the same on the same pitch. But they will probably not do much harm. (Exclude Bret Lee)
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
cmon mcgrath giv lee the strike
its a shame that a bolwer of his class suck big time in batting:D
finally lee is facing now , 3 balls to go
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
261- 9 in 50
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
Australia finished at 261-9
After 40 overs they were 205-4. They were in a great position to reach 285 but only 56 runs added in last 10. So it is quite a come back by England.
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
I watched whole symonds innings and yes there were misunderstandings runnig b/w the wickets buts thats how one day cricket goes. Even Pieterson survived close run outs in his match winning knock against aussies. Does that mean he was being set up by Solanki and co?
I appreciate that your prediction came true but it was more of Symonds fault it happened. Did you see the incident?
Gillespie has not been that effective since a while now and McGrath is in twilight of his career. On the other hand English attack is young and its success rate last year has been phenomenal. And they troubled Aussie batsmen today because of their pace and height (Jones and Harmison) while Mcgrath does not have that kind of pace but he is accurate while Lee has pace so he is bound to get more out of this pitch.
Your conspiracy theories have so far failed to provice any source or even links to aussie tabloids so should we establish they are figments of your imaginations?
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
lol...why Vaughn had to bowl an over...the dumbo...
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
Sorry I couldn’t make much from your comments here. Are you suggesting that there are differences in Aussie squad regarding Symond’s late treatment by Ponting? and that is somehow effecting their performance and targetting/helping Symonds on the field?
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
Yes, I watched the incident. :) Poor umpiring even if decision was right; and as for Hussy, every player usually sacrifices for the important one, which was Symonds in this case.
Well my theories are not based on Solid sources in this thread, but none went wrong till now. It's not my imagination though. I live in environment (surroundings) where cricket is more likely to be under discussion all the times than any other thing, even girls.
Now if Australian pacers fail to restrict England batting line-up (not as strong as Aus), with exception of Bret Lee, then.....at least don't make fun of my posts. :(
Here I don't mean that they will not perform at all, they will not put them in to win.
The match will still depend heavily on Symonds, and yes he is not a good bowler. So let's see how he can react.
Re: Nat West series - England, BD and Australia.
There is thunder and lightning all around as I look out of my window, so I don't think this match will last very long as the ground is only about 2 miles from my home.
