Na't: Wa SallAllah - recited by Wahid Zafar

Just listened to this na’t and was moved by it. Although I do not agree with some of the content (I think: نه نور از خود - نه بخود موجود - وصلي الله علي محمد - احمد المحمود), I did love the way the poet has incorporated some of the Quranic expressions within the Farsi verses.

So, I just typed it out for all you folks so you could recite along with the na’t too if you like

Re: Na't: Wa SallAllah - recited by Wahid Zafar

It will lose its beauty. Try to use the lughat. You would be able to translate it.

I can transalte the following for you.

would be something to the effect of:

If the name of Muhammad were naught
Adam would not have been granted forgiveness
And he would not have recovered from his turmoil
And as a consequence Noah could not have been saved from being Drowned (so no more humanity)

Re: Na't: Wa SallAllah - recited by Wahid Zafar

^ now why wud that be the case....
Adam (as) made a mistake, and according to the Quran, Allah taught him words how to repent and Allah forgave him....
as is shown in the verse below:
Quran 2:37
**YUSUFALI:* Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
PICKTHAL: Then Adam received from his Lord words (of revelation), and He relented toward him. Lo! He is the relenting, the Merciful.
SHAKIR: Then Adam received (some) words from his Lord, so He turned to him mercifully; surely He is Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful.*

and where did the name of Muhammad (saw) come into the Noah (as) story????
Noah (as) was ordered by Allah to build a boat and get abroad so all disbelievers shall be drowned....
