nasty iphone

i didnt charge my iphone for few days and now when i m charging it iphone is not getting charge…full dead black screen :frowning:

is se pehle bhi some time i dont charge it for few days but when i plug in charge hota tha bhut this time…
i checked the charger with my couisn cell and charger is doing fine

other iphone users had this prolem ever?

I don’t use an iPhone myself (I think Blackberries are way better) but apparently there are a couple of ways to try and resolve that issue.

  1. Try connecting it to your PC through USB and restarting the PC. That might work; something to do with a reset or what not.
  2. Hold the ‘Home’ button for about 5 odd seconds. Then while the ‘Home’ button is depressed, connect the USB cable to the PC. Worth a shot?
  3. Changing the wall socket where you are trying to charge the phone? Or umm plug in a different battery and see? If it works with a different battery then you might just need to replace that.

In the end if none of the above works, you could just take it to the closest Apple Service Centre. That’s one thing Apple does right; customer service.

Did you leave it for a while with the charger connected to the wall? Sometimes, the battery is so drained that the unit does not come on. I have had it happen to my touch, where the even the charging batter icon would appear after 10-15 minutes after plugging the unit in.

If this doesn’t work take it to the Apple store. If you don’t really know what you’re doing then don’t do it. This is an electronic device, don’t try neem-hakeem nuskhay.

press power button on top and home key at the same time and keep it pressed. its a hard reset and should sort the issue out

sometimes the charger slot gets dirty with dust and debris.. try cleaning it with a sharp edge very delicately OR vacuum it.
