I loved that , I remember standing in line for hours to buy some and bring home to share with the family.

Yes it was Nasir Sweet Meat Mart when in was in block 16 then they moved it to this new place and changed the name.

damn Good ol'days ... after pumping the iron in Haji club ... i used to eat like some 4 pooris , adah pa'oo halwa in 10 rupees ....

Hey man, located next to Nasir is Mehmood Sweets… it rocks 
then, we had Ayoob sweet Mart near Gulber Chorangi as well…

These days famous halwa poori spots are Dhamtal, United King, Binnori Town Mosque, PIB Colony, Abdul Khaliq at Johar More and off course Mehmood Sweeets etc.
There was a small shop in our area run by punjabi blokes. They used to make very delicous halwa poori, cholay, aalo ki tarkari and qeemay wali poori.
