If they don't give enough powers then you are not happy...if they do give powers then you are not happy either...I am not impressed with your assesment at all....
You empower people where they demonstrate an ability to handle that power properly. Inzi as captain had consistenly failed to show that. Imran Khan as captain, on the other hand, demonstrated it admirably. One size does NOT fit all.
Under the current PCB constitution the head of state is the president of PCB, hence Musharraf. He should appoint a cricketer, instead of his cronies or another retired General.
exactly.
actually there should be proper Board of Governers including retired cricketers & professionals, qualified managers. and they should be electing the Chairman.
Thes people don't want to spend their time where they don't get paid at all just for making these decisons and selections....You know this is what happend to the Hockey....& it all then comes to the highest authority.
The guy who 'fired' Waqar Younis (or accepted his resignation).
What a bunch of losers. This is how we take ownership of a mighty loss? I say clean up PCB, yeh hi moqa hai.

you are right.
May be the members can be paid. I mean, PCB wastes so much money on travel and arrangements for the offcials. Where there is a need for one or 2 persons to travel with our team, our PCB sends like 10 - only because these people want to travel free. And its only with our PCB. other boards don't send that many officials. so save money from there and spend it here where it can be a good investment.
besides am sure we can find bunch of people who would be willing to do it for free for the sake of good team performance.
Dr Nasim Ashraf has proven to be a total idiot when it came to Pcb and cricket, but his incompetence is dwarfed by the poor cricketing performance of our captain and his merry eleven. Overpaid, incompetent, fatsos.

Faisal, I disagree with you on the services rendered part ... Inzi should have packed his bags at least 4 years ago, he was too slow, a disgrace in the field and no skills to be a leader. I still cannot get over his dismissal gaiants Irelan... he nonchalantly edges one right into the hands of the first slip....pathetic pathetic ...

..and not just any cricketer, because just because someone knew how to throw the ball does not make them a good PCB director, that technical knowldge of the game is a good thing but a lot more goes into running a successful organization, so lets make sure it is someone up to the task.

I was just gonna respond with a similar statement but you made the point there I guess... You cannot give full control to someone who is there just to spoil the show & make decisions that make no sense at all ... appointing mushi to coach a whole bunch of pacers being the top one I guess

We can argue when he should have packed his bags, but I guess all of us agree that he should not have been appointed the captain of Pakistan team. From day one, he was unfit to lead the team.
