NASEEB yet another of the series of TV serials in SCOTLAND, goes before the cameras at Glasgow from 18th October.
Produced by ELIHZEY Productions of Zulfiqar and Tasmina Sheikh of Glasgow, the 13 episoder is written by Seema Ghazal and will be directed by Zulfi Sheikh himself at Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and London.
The Cast:: Mekaal, Mona Lisa, Maria Wasti, Kashif Mahmood, Ismat Zaidi, Mahmood Akhtar, Nabeel, Qazi Wajid, Raju Jamil and Munawwar Saeed.
Initially, myself, Qazi, Maria and Mona fly out to Glasgow on 16th and face the camera from 16th for an 18-20 days shoot at Scotland and England. I play one of the three close buddies (Munawwar Saeed and Qazi Wajid being the other two) as Doctor.
The serial is expected to be completed by late Nov and should go on air by mid January-08 on either; ARY or GEO or PTV Global and Home.

well, it's nice to hear Zulfiqar is commin back after such a long time. Last drama serial I saw by him was Khaali Aankhein. It was nice. However, Maa and Castle were bad. All the lush scenry aside, his dramas tend to become quiet boring with long shots of silence or between two characters who talk very slow about everthing else but the issue at hand. I hope he realizes this and make this one a little bit fast paced.

The pic in post # 6 reminds me Drama serial ANSOO... a very good serial indeed... Both Zulfi n Nabeel did wonderful job in that serial...playing the roles of two best friends, converted into angry step brothers later on...:D
