Nars blushes

Im confused between desire, mata hari & angelika.

Anyone tried these?

Re: Nars blushes

Angelika texture is completely different then the other two. This is micro glitter which makes it sparkly. Desire and Mata Hari are both matte. So do you want matte or something sparkly?

Between Desire and Mata Hari…I prefer desire. I wasn’t happy with Mata Hari’s texture when I tried it at the store. Seemed a bit chalky.

The link below will hopefully help (if u haven’t seen it already).

NARS Blushes: Desire, Mata Hari, Angelika, and Exhibit A, Swatches, Photos, Reviews

Re: Nars blushes

I have Angelika and it looks really pretty. Also, I don't think it will look good if your darker skinned because it is a really pale pink.

Re: Nars blushes

Oh sparkley would be better as long as its not over the top. Thanks for your help

Re: Nars blushes

Oh im quite fair but from the swatches the color didnt look pale at all.

Re: Nars blushes

Desire is quite a solid color and for someone who doesnt wear much of makeup and is only trying out blushes for fun, i dnt think starting with desire would be a good option. What do u girls think?

Re: Nars blushes

^ Well if you want sparkly, then Angelika is your only option b/t those 3. If you want matte finish, then Desire will be fine. :)

Re: Nars blushes

a drugstore dupe for the nars 'orgasm' highlighter is the 'rosegold' sleek blush. So good because its subtle with the pink so it looks natural and also has specks of gold in it for highlighting. just 4(ish) pounds.

Re: Nars blushes

Rosegold ....wat brand?

Re: Nars blushes

^The brand is Sleek

Re: Nars blushes

Ohk

Re: Nars blushes

The brand is Sleek. I got mine from Superdrug (UK).

Re: Nars blushes

ok thanks.

Re: Nars blushes

I use nars orgasm illuminator but barely shows.

Re: Nars blushes

I have some other people say the same about the NARS illuminator? but if you are looking for an illuminizer, try the Josie maran one; it really is a miracle in a bottle, I mix it with my foundation for a glow-y complexion, it really does look so pretty.

Re: Nars blushes

Deepthroat by NARS is one of my all time favourite blushes and I think it suits a lot of different types of skintones - it's a bit toned and more peachy pinky than the ones you mentioned. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the ones you mentioned but based off of pictures, I would probably go with Angelika!

Re: Nars blushes

yup I liked angelika the best from the pix but I didn't end up buying either. waiting for the holidays collections now!
