NARS Blushes?

Amour! This shade is made for desi skin tones!!!!

Re: NARS Blushes?

Just got Exhibit A, really liking it! was torn between Armour and Exhibit A, they actually look almost identical once blended.

Re: NARS Blushes?

Exhibit A is my FAVORITE! What blush do you apply with?

Re: NARS Blushes?

Love Nars blushes, but more of a fan of creme ones. Just got Enchanted in the mail and I love it! :D Such a pretty peachy/coral color.

Re: NARS Blushes?

I have a no name powder brush I apply it with..it gets the job done, but if you can recommend a brush that would apply it really well, and doesn't cost an arm, let me know! =)

Re: NARS Blushes?

^I HIGHLY recommend a fan brush or a duo-fiber brush like the MAC #188 or #187. Sigma has exact dupes. ELF has a duo-fiber brush as well for $3. The only difference is the shape but it serves the same purpose. Basically, you want to go VERY light-handed w/ Exhibit A. It’s a PERFECT “winter” blush as well. It’s my favorite. I’m an NC20-25 for reference and when I use a #188/#187 brush, it gives the most amazing Snow-White-esque blush.

It’s a fantastic blush to have, it’ll last you forever since you barely need any.

Re: NARS Blushes?

^I have the MAC 187 but I didn't know it'd be good for applying blush! i'll give it a try :)

P.S. IF you feel comfortable doing so, can you post a pic showing how it should look on the face? I think I need to work on my blush application, I kind of just dab it in the middle on my cheeks. I always use a bronzer on my cheekbones too, so I don't want the blush covering that.

Re: NARS Blushes?

^The MAC #187 (or any duo-fiber stippling brush) is PERFECT for uber-pigmented blushes. And I dont have a picture of myself wearing it but I found some on Google. What I normally do is apply little to no bronzer but use it to contour rather than bronze and add Exhibit A lightly on the cheekbone and apples. But I go very light-handed.

It should look something like this:

Or:

I find that with any pigmented blushes, it’s better to apply a bit of translucent powder on the cheek first before applying it so it goes on evenly and not patchy or blotchy.

^Just tried it, the 187 really does apply it sooo nicely! Thanks for the tip! :) I tried it with powder underneath also, it gives it a more flawless finish.

:)

Re: NARS Blushes?

oooh I never thought of putting powder before the blush, thank you for the tip!

Re: NARS Blushes?

^No problem! It makes blending out pigmented blushes easy too.
