Narnia

Re: Narnia

Pakistan has all the movies on TV

Re: Narnia

i have some vivid memories of watching the tv series on NTM/STN long time ago. Now watching this again surely was a delight.

movie was totally adventurous ... the child actors did an awesome job. Lucy was adorable .... Graphics were up to the mark like all disney movies. It was a very amusing movie all together... its a must watch for all adventure fans... and yeah.. u might wana try playing hide n seek after watching the movie...

Re: Narnia

The most amazing movie have I have seen all year...yes, even better than Harry Potter.

The children were brilliant, little Lucy made me cry everytime she cried!

The whole experience brought back so many memories of reading the books, and watching the cartoon and the BBC's TV series. It was just so magical! You will need plenty of tissues mind, as I cried loads and anyone who didn't/doesn't cry does not deserve to watch it.

Re: Narnia

I was expecting this thread to be like 10 pages long by now.

Re: Narnia

Seen yesterday was ok, i think it culd have been better

Re: Narnia

As a big fan of the books, I really liked the movie. I didn't particularly care for how Edmund was acted, but overall the movie was beautifully done and compelling.

To compare it to recent fantasy movies, I didn't think it was as good as The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, but it was superior to Harry Potter.

Of course, I feel the Narnia books blow away the Harry Potter books, too.

Re: Narnia

I really enjoyed the movie! the kids were great esp. Lucy and Peter :k: Wonderully acted! And the lion was so sexy!! I want Aslen as a pet now!
The ending bit was slightly cheesy but the movie was well worth it. Another oneof those flicks where both the adult and the kids enjoyed it thoroughly :k:

Re: Narnia

I don't think the movies have been promoted as much. Or maybe I'm just out of the loop, but I don't see people going crazy over narnia the way they did with LOTR or Potter movies. Maybe releasing a fantasy movie over winter holidays is too predictable now?

Re: Narnia

me too… I loved the cartoons

Re: Narnia

The movie was amazing. It's like they captured what I imagined as a young girl, enhanced it, and put it on screen. Cinematography was excellent.

I really enjoyed it. The kids were good too, tho I didn't like Peter that much.

Re: Narnia

I think LOTR raised the bar so high that its hard for anything to compare..

Re: Narnia

What a waste of time and 7 bucks.
Why didn’t anyone tell me this movie was for 5 year olds?
