get here Moms and tell me a good cream for a nappy rash.kasme i clean him alot infact he only wears diaper for 2 hours and even if its clean i change it .maybe his skin is sensitive:hmmm:
so help me out here what should i do with the rash and what should i apply.
Sudocream, Plain Zincoxide cream, Vaseline,
plain old desi totka mix equal parts of Mustard oil and water mix it well so it looks like cream and apply
or leave him without diper for 10-15 minutes twice a day
do try this one , it does wonders esp for newborns........
take a teaspoon vinegar ( yes believe me it's vinegar) in 1/4 th cup water , apply it over baby's butts using a cotton swab , now dry it well , if u're in hurry use hair dryer to dry yr baby well ( don't worry baby won't get scared ), now apply rash cream preferably DESITIN , use this method @ every diaper change , and rashes would go away in a matter day or two.
Also avoid using moist wipes for cleaning , instead wash the baby with water and pat dry .
I used a product called Aquaphor. Its expensive but you only use a tiny little bit so the tube lasts a long time. Its like vaseline but works very quickly.
Aww. Yeah try not using baby wipes..or rinse the wipe with water before wiping baby. And I 100% agree with washing baby's bum with water...also leave your baby open for about 1/2 hour twice a day, that always helped.
Balmex & desitin are good, so is Butt Paste....find at any pharmacy.
Bourdeoux's butt paste mixed in with Gold Bond's medicated baby powder does the trick everytime. My baby's nappy rash wasn't going away with anything and lots of people recommended this combo and it worked wonders. Apply vaseline or a diaper rash cream even when baby is rash free.
i use baby liquid talc by mothercare regularly everytime i change his diaper..and keep him without the diaper for an hour twice a day..i read a scary research topic about the harmful effects of using disposable diapers continuously for baby boys :( really wish there was a cleaner way to avoid diapers on my little one !
