Wrong, I dont think any TV channel has "nudity" which by definition means,
"The state of being without clothing or covering of any kind"
There may be "some" exposure but I think nudity is a big word for it. :)

Yes all Pakistani TV Channel has changed the old policy of Sharm-o-Haya. Now all are doing what Mr. Musharraf has taught them.

having observed some pakistani tv shows on youtube, I have to say, it's quite refreshing to see "nanga punn" as you call it but its actually change in fashion. bare arms or shoulders are not in anyway sexual imo nor should they be. i know some people may say that it is sexual but than again, you can make anything sexual even showing hair.
I think it is quite sad how Pakistanis sexualize women (seriously, like showing a bare arm is going to affect anyone).
If families can see bollywood movies together where there is so much "nangapun" why not a toned down version on Pakistani tv?
Pakistan media has changed a lot its more open now.But still its not showing nudity.

I agree that in Dramas, Shows, Advertisement and even in the Morning Shows, some times you will feel as hammad78 said nanga pan (nudity)

okay sleeveless clothes does not mean 'nude'....neither is it a new thing to pakistani media since they were fashionable in the 40's and 50's films.

I think the Pakistani channels should start giving the rating before every program.. like if its PG, PG-13, !4, 17 etc.. :)

Rated-14: All above and Sleeveless, Paenche upar. May have variety of dresses for example, pantshirt, skirts, mini skirts etc. Also may involve some hand-shaking and hugging. Smoking/Drinking may be shown as well
Rated-17: All above and ...............................all what you can think of.. :)
P.S. Make sure your kids are asleep for this one. ;)

if we are talking about putting in ratings then i am all for it...but lets not just take clothes into consideration...lets also take into consideration the sort of language being used in the drama and as well as the overall content and subject of the drama...you don't want your kids watching sleeveless girls than you should also be against the abusive language and bold topics that are being shown in dramas these days.

I am 100% agreed with you. Yeh Musharraf ki Roshan khayali ka nateeja hai jis kay effects aaj hum TV pay dekh rahay hain. Pehlay bazu nangay hoay, or ab legs bhee nangi hona shroo ho gaee hain........agay agay dekhay kia kia hota hai.

I DEFINATELY AGREE, its a shame things are changing, alhamduillah its totally not nudity, but its getting worser by the day. i dont know ur views abt this but, the whole miss world thing in PAK, i dont agree wid, when GIVE the go ahead for a woman to fully expose her body and say she represents a country, etc etc.. then it just makes u realise, its really changed.. sharam and hayah is definetly going in this society, the media , technological advances have made things worse... ppl have really changed, things use to be bad.. just amongst a few ppl, now its widespread.

RAB RAKAH, its the world we live in, were all gunghar, Allah swt guide us all Inshallah.
But I hav heard that its used to be the same way in 70s and then you saw things changed. Now if we are again heading towards it, may be after some years we'll take a u-turn and things will be ok.
So, keep good hopes and yes, wrong thing is wrong and should be believed, no matter whoever tries to prove it correct.
