Nandipur Project: One of the biggest frauds in Pakistan's history

This project along with Laptop scheme, Orange Line and now Smart phone schemes are evident that these crooked brothers have no interest or shame to put country’s economy on track. They are interested in their family dynasty and milking the treasury as much as they can.

“The cost of the project has escalated sharply, and why wouldn’t it; it took seven years for the project to start generation that too has become controversial. The initial contract cost was around Rs23 billion, which shot up to Rs58 billion when the present government renegotiated it – an increase of 152 percent. A new mystery engulfed the contentious project when NEPRA declared the cost to have skyrocketed to Rs84 billion.”

Panchi pai kuch roshi dalen ge is par??

Re: Nandipur Project: One of the biggest frauds in Pakistan’s history

Initial contract cost = Rs 23 billion
NEPRA declared cost = Rs 84 billion

When project would get completed (and if it really does get completed), than due to corruption, cost might be much more than Rs 84 billion.

Assume that no more corruption happens and project do get completed in Rs 84 billion … than it means:

Corruption cost = Rs 84 billion - Rs 23 billion = Rs 61 billion

This is money that corrupts looted in one project.

If Rs 1 million = 10,00,000 = 10 Lac is cost of saving life of one person but they died due to lack of this resource … than

It means, lost due to corruption in Nandipur project alone (Rs 61 billion, could be more), than it means, due to Rs 61 billion corruption, corrupts killed 61000 people as:

61000 x Rs 10 lac = Rs 61 billion

That 61000 is more than total Pakistanis who got killed by Terrorists plus terrorists whom Pakistan army killed, since 2002.

So, one can see how many Pakistanis corrupts kill every year, as Pakistan loosing this Rs 61 billion in corruption is tip of an iceberg. Estimate is that, corrupts are looting over Rs 15 billion a day, or ~Rs 5500 billion a year.

Daily Corruption in Pakistan 15 Billion Report Chairman Naib -

If cost of one person who dies in Pakistan due to lack of government expenditure on Health (lack of medical facilities and medicine), food shortage, lack of job creation, lack of water, lack of sewerage facilities, etc … is Rs 10 lac (Rs 1 million) than … in one year … corrupts kill:

5500 x 1000 = 5.5 million Pakistanis, but it is unfortunate that this killing stays unnoticed.

Re: Nandipur Project: One of the biggest frauds in Pakistan’s history

I know that many might be thinking that what I mentioned cannot be true, and that high figures of death (killing by corrupts) is myth. So … here is something to read and think if what I mentioned is myth or there is some truth in it.

Read the article, think and ponder who are the biggest murderer in Pakistan, terrorists or corrupts?

10% of Pakistani Children Die Before Their 5th Birthday | The Diplomat

Pakistani population is ~200 million. Every year ~ 7 million children are born in Pakistan. Out of that 7 million, ~700,000 children die before they see their 5th birthday. This figure is one of the highest in the world (except India) in every respect, even if we take population into account, as Pakistan has one of the highest child mortality rate and still birth rate in the world.

All these death is due to preventable causes, but only if money is available and work is done on merit without corruption … hence one can rightly say that all these death, at least 90 percent is due to corruption, and thus corrupts are killers.

Above is only one sector where Pakistanis are dying due to corruption and thus corrupts are killers. There are many other sectors, for instance, mother dying during child birth. People dying due to various diseases, road accidents that can be avoided if government had spent on better traffic management, road network, driver training and education, quality of road vehicles, etc, etc, etc.

All these killings can stop if corrupts are hanged and corruption in Pakistan gets eliminated. Then resources instead of getting stolen by corrupts, would go to social sectors saving many lives and making living of poor better.

Look at one of 2014 report on child mortality rate in Pakistan:

Child mortality: Pakistan has the highest rate of first day deaths - The Express Tribune

LONDON: Pakistan has the highest rate of first day deaths and stillbirths, charity Save the Children said in a report out Tuesday.

The report by the British-based organisation said Pakistan had the highest rate of first day deaths and stillbirths at 40.7 per 1,000 births, followed by Nigeria (32.7), Sierra Leone (30.8), Somalia (29.7), Guinea-Bissau (29.4) and Afghanistan (29.0).

Re: Nandipur Project: One of the biggest frauds in Pakistan’s history

Any NAB, FIA, Anti corruption establishment action? Any sou mota of CJP? Any media trial? Any chitrol by Raheel Sharif? There is dead silent on every front. Give me one good reason why not people in power should loot the country?

There is one panchi pai of PML(N) who keeps posting fraud marka developments in Punjab with 1080P pictures of such projects and then claim NS will win the elections of 2018. Why not! Every one gets the share of loot in Punjab eh!

Re: Nandipur Project: One of the biggest frauds in Pakistan's history

Well:
Who appoints Judges, and until recently CJP?
Who appoints director of FIA?
Who influence in giving job in NAB, FIA or any agencies of Pakistan?
Who appoints IG Police?
Who appoints Chief Secretory of Provinces?
Who appoints director of NAB?

Who appoints COAS?
Who appoints head of various institutions?
Who appoints governor of State Banks
Who appoints ... ... ...

Well ... if they are all appointed by Politician in power, than what one can expect from them?

If Pakistan was democracy, than all these appointments should have been free from political influence and not in control of politicians. Rather, appointments in all these position should have been on merit, directly from people coming within the department, rising over time from bottom of the ladder, and on every step of promotion, they are evaluated by their seniors on merit (where seniors should have given reasons for recommendation or rejection).

Plus, in the end, it should be departments and institutions themselves taking care of all promotions and appointments, civil or military ...

Since Pakistan has lot of biases and nepotism, interview in all department for appointment or promotion should get banned. Only written test should decide appointment and promotion, followed by medical test.
