The names u guys r talking about r modern, westernized, adopted from the semitic languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Greek). Why do u think christians made yeshua into Jesus, so whenever you say it wouldnt sound jewish, we use only muslim names so no one confuses us for a christian or a jew. Exactly what christians, hindus, and jews do. So whats the problem?
Its also in the hadith, that you should name your children after prophets i.e. musa, isa, ibrahim, muhammad, pbuh on them all, if u dont then they shouldn't have a bad meaning, and they shouldn't be of other religions either.
