I was just wondering that why people don’t name their kids on angels Israfeel, Mikaeel, Jibraeel & Azraeel.
I also have not seen anyone naming their kids as aadam, hawa.
I am talking about desi people.

i read somewhere in a religious book that muslims were not allowed to name their kid after the angels... it was a good few years ago, will try and find out where it read it and if there is a hadith to support it
as for naming our kids after Aadam A.S, my nephew is called Aadam and we also have EEsa in the family,

I know many pplz named Mikaeel, Adam and Hawa. Never heard Israfeel, Jibraeel and Azraeel. I'm talking about both pplz i.e. desi and others. :)

well not only angels names ppls don name there kids of teh islamic personalities......they want short n sweet n wht's in fashion..like iraje,sarah,maira zoya etc etc...
