as far as boyz,,,,I wanted all 3 times to name a son Jeremiah. Bilal is very nice too. And both fit in nicely with the west if you happen to live here.

my mom and her sis are aliya and ayesha, and then theres also aliya and amina, or amna.
i also happen to love amalia but that might be too similar too aliya.

i asked my grandfather who knows a lot about islam, and also read up on it myself, and what i read was that you're allowed to name your kids after angels. however, there are certain words in islam that you are NOT allowed to use as names because their meaning is only known to Allah - two of them that i remember are "Taha" and "Yaseen" -- which was very surprising to me cos i've known people named that and i thought they were quite common boy's names, but then i confirmed that with my grandfather again and he agreed they were not allowed.

errrm not sure but i dunt think so k your allowed .. subhaan is distinguishly affixed to the quality of Allah Almighty but i could be wrong ..alternatively present your proof/s
