MashAllah bro you seem to be on a right path.. to answer your question, I think it’s not words which matter the most, it’s the intention of making the dua and also the intensity of it.. a simple dua in any language with a drop of tear can be heard in 7th heaven.. plus the time counts a lot.. i.e. Tahujud time, the time of breaking your fast, during the azan etc..

Thank you brother, your kind words are most appreciated. I usually give dua after Isha prayers - I feel that I am able to best reflect on the day.
