I would love to see IK and Justice Wajih as Prime minister as I know they will not get their hands dirty with corruption. But both will fail at the hands of politicians and agencies, can hardly survive 3 months because the badmaash of our countries like Fazlurehman, JI, BB, Chaudhrys, Shariefs and MQM would never want a person who supports free judiciary for obvious reasons. An honest administration is opimum for setups like Pakistan. They are self-poisoned for their initiators.
I like to give IK a chance (as many others got it), but despite of his no-nonsense approach, little do we know about the details of his 'Mohaatir-like' agenda for Pakistan. Will it be an economic boom for Pakistan with all those promised 'cottage industries' or a total bankcruptcy. Only time will tell.
Wajih sahaab might be too old for PM job, President yes, but not PM. Plus we don't know if he can gather competetive technocrats to run the country in progressive manner while engraving law in Islamabad's corridoors.

Get some Islamist to be next PM so the world could see that they are not as Islamist as they think they. I mean likes of Maulana Fazal Rehman or Durrani (ex CM of NWFP)

Shaukat Aziz.
Hope he comes back from his 'break from politics' quickly and resumes the Premiership. He is far more preferrable than any politician that is on offer, and has a proven record of success when it comes to the Pakistan economy.

^ yep, country has run out of items for sale, except for disputed Steel Mills. Unless someone is interested in old Dams or fertilizers.
Shaukat has nothing to sell now. It is estimated that the last cabinet has saved their lovely and sexy foreign investors some Rs. 220B, where as they just got Rs. 40B in kickbacks. If Steel Mills deal was done, it would have been close to Rs. 400B savings to their lords.
I say nuke that CJ Ifti for ruining the party. Our poor cabinet has gone with half empty pockets.

Shaukat Aziz or Imran Khan. Shaukat Aziz because all the economic progress made by Pakistan in the last few years was because of him. Imran because he is the only untried and honest politician around.
However we need a clean and acceptable head of state for these guys to function properly and therefore we need Mush to go and my choice there would be Aitzaz Ahsan.

BB and Nawaz cannot technically become PM for a third time unless their parties (alone or + coalition partners) win a handsome 2/3rds majority in the next parliament which would allow them to both curtail Mush's powers as President and scrap the law barring someone from becoming PM for a third time. However as ISI are likely to rig the next election, it's unlikely that any coalition would even get such a majority in January.
PML-N and PPP will easily have close to 2/3 of total seatsseats, and atleast the repeal of the term limit is something they can agree on, I say there is a good chance of thatterm limit being repealed. hopefullyi t does not happen, but it is a veryt real possibility, other groups like MMA, MQM could be bought out for future favours to lend their support to that also.

malik riaz, probably the best person in pakistan to be pm, but hes not in politics.
relisticly speaking, all the possible canditdates for pm are corrupt, shukat aziz was the best but now is gone, i expect someone from pmlq to win.
pervaiz elahi/moonis elahi/shiek raseed/humayun aktar.
humayun aktar is probably the best bet, but choudarys probably wont let him get it and pervaiz elahi would win, well hes corrupt but not as much as anyone from pmln or ppp, so i would take him.
shiek raseed wouldnt be bad either, he has done good as railway minister and his humor would be good as pm, he will also show to the world that muslims are also humerous and next time you woudnt need to make a film on it.
from ppp, salman taseer wouldnt be a bad choice either who is now serving under the senate cabinet but he doesnt really have a chance.

Back in my primary school days I remember a light heavy weight by the name Ghulam Dastageer as Minister for Labour and Manpower in Zia's cabinet, a complete paindoo from Gujranwala.
I can't decide who is worse, Sheikh Rashid, Wasi Zafar or Ghulam Dastageer. If pushed I might still go for Dastageer.

sadly PTI is a non facor and I doubt other parties would be willing to pick someone over their life chairpersons to go for that post.

Aietzaz Ahsan sounds like a good choice too, given that PPP is the largest party and has alot of influence...
