All we ever heard of hereos but I have never heard about villans or assissins . Can someone name some of Sotuh Asia villans. People like who killed Indra Gandhi or Liaqat Ali khan?

Liaqat Ali Khan was shot by Saad Akbar Babrak, supposedly at CIA's bidding. Babrak was killed by the security agencies immediately, so the exact details of the conspiracy have never been revealed.

Rajiv Gandhi was killed in 1991 by an LTTE suicide bomber Thenu (Thenmuli Rajaratnam). LTTE was against him for his decision to send the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) to Sri Lanka.

Interesting thread. Did you know the Original “Assasins” were a Arab cult ofshoots from the Shia branch of Islam who had fanatical beliefs and introduced such terms as “Hashashin” the origin of the Word “Assasin” which comes from the agents use of Hashish (Canabis) to create drug induced fighting machines.
The Assasins grew from a small cult to one of the most powerfull forces in Asia and legend has it that they stole into the Tent of the famous Saracen King Salahudin Ayubi and delivered a Terrorist note.
Now interestingly the Assasins sort of disapeard from the Historical records after Mongol Hulagu Khan’s Western Invasions. However they were not wiped out, the sect survived till recent times and thier decendants trekked across the wasted Lands of the Eastward trade routes to Northern Hindustan. The last of the Assasins can be traced to a certain North Pakistani sect but for the best I wont name the sect nor there final wherabouts suffice to say that they are no longer the Terrorists they used to be and inhabit a peacefull region in the far extremes of Pakistan.
As for other Villains in South Asian History as TLK has pointed out rightly Mir Jafir and Mir Sadiq come to mind.
Aurangzeb Alaamgir would for many decendants of the Maratha and Sikhs seem like the archetype villian and even in Islamic circles despite his later strict rigidness to the faith in typical style of his forebears he still had one brother put to death and if the records are true he personally ordered his fathers blinding…
I think the armies of Timur Lang (Tamerlane) who invaded India in the 14th Century with his mighty hordes and left hundreds of thousands dead also comes to mind as a particularly bloodthirsty man, as does Ghengis Khan though theres some debate as to whether he ever Invaded India in the first place… while he certainly fought at the bank of the Indus River his army did recieve two thrashings prior to this and he never did beat Jalal Udin Mingbornu is the subsequent Guerilla war so one could say that in effect he was stopped at the door of India like Alexander before him he might have got a foot in the door but he never did make that final push.
Interestingly the greatest Movie villian in my opinion was Pran Sikand. In real life though he was a true gentleman and I can seriously relate to the poor chap.
