There may be many things women can do better than men and vice versa since Allah made wife and husband to compliment and complete each other. One thing I could think of is *Upbringing of a child *
For this reason, It is important that women are educated also (even if they won't be working after marriage). Allah had made fardh on Men to provide food and shelter for family and similarly, women are responsible for the child's upbrining (while husband is at work). Therefore it is important for women to be educated and be familiar with Shariah to an extent so that child is righteous also.
PS - This does not mean that men are not responsible for helping wife in raising children.
PS2 - This also does not mean that men cannot raise children. Take Zayd (R.A) for example who used to save girls from their parents (from being burried alive) and used to raise them until their age of marriage approached. I feel while men can also raise children, women are better at this and for this reason, a mother can have a tremendous influence on the child and his/her life.
