The process of developing GS platform and community continues unabated and we are now focusing on launching new portals. In this regard the next project is a portal exclusively focusing on beauty, health and fashion tips.
We can come up with lots of categories and custom fields, etc. Images and videos, blah blah. What do you guys think?
This will have the advantage of giving users a unique opportunity to present content in a coherent and organized manner, easy to browse and manage.
We can come up with a creative name for this section .. GSTips? TIPtops? etc.. we can discuss this as we go.
In this section (sub portal), the main cats will be the following and each will have its own set of sub cats
beauty,
health,
fashion,
etc.
So let your creative juices flow and give us ideas, name and the focus of such a portal.
People who actively take part and helps us shape the portal might in future become actively involved in the portal as editors and mods. So lets hear from you.

We need portals to present content in a more organized and categorized fashion. It will be easy for the users to find what they are looking for. Take an example of the recipes portal. You can go straight to the Salads area and find all the Salad recipes in one place. This, we hope will be better than to search and go through tens of threads. But in the end, its the power of GS and YOU who will drive content into these portals.

This portal is not going to be limited to just beauty, health and fashion. Other sections may contain academic, financial, technology, housekeeping, etc tips. Each section might have its own sub categories.
