**it doesn’t matter…whatever is ur legal name [on ur birth certificate] will be used until u officially change ur name and attach the ‘name change certificate’. u’ll get a passport in the name of whatever is on ur birth certificate…if i were u, i would get the name change [officially] and then get a new passport. it’ll save u, as u pointed out, some extra work when u receive your green card. **

we need a name change certificate?? how and where do we get it from?
