^^ Saw that, terrible print that leaves you clueless as to what most of the movie is about. Besides that, it has a terrible cliche storyline...like Maula Jutt on acid...the only memorable thing abt the movie are the rather abstract (by Lahore standards) song and dance sequences

That was all down to talented artist/set designer - Tanveer Fatima Rehman, she also produced 'Mujhe Chand Chahiye' back in 2000 which is considerably better than Guns and Roses. Wonder what happened to TFR...

^^ Yes, TFR did a tremendous job with Guns and Roses/Ik Junoon (and the later production as well)....the story goes that they reshot major portions of Mujhe Chand Chahiye after Ik Junoon bombed and fudged in Reema to make the film more commercially viable. The result was a disjointed story where the lead pair find out they're siblings (!!!!) in the end, only later is the matter resolved by another twist....anyway, long story short, TFR and Shaan, the egomaniac, had a falling out of sorts after the film though both complement each others skills so well it's sad. TFR didnt make another film and all of Shaan's later productions at best could be termed wannabe Punjabi films shot in Urdu.

That's just plain typical coming from HRH Shehzada Shaan, another addition to his never-ending list of victims...

That's just plain typical coming from HRH Shehzada Shaan, another addition to his never-ending list of victims...
he's clearly very talented, if he could only put a fraction of that to good use and do something about his attitude which is the greatest hurdle to his career IMHO...a lot of people wd want to work with him trust me

He is talented but his unprofessional attitude has repelled most people. His filmography does have some quality films though (for those looking for recommendations).
