namaz and nailpolish

i’ve heard many sides to the controversy of namaz and nailpolish…

  • if u have nailpolish on…wudu stays incomplete…so namaz isnt completed.

or

  • if u put on nailpolish Right AFTer doing wudu…u can keep it on and make new wudu..and it’ll be okay.

or

  • nail polish doesnt matter. namaz does. so just do it.

i havent researched this matter yet…im planning to. it duznt really concern me cuz i dont wear nailpolish…but i got a kool silvery shade..and maybe i will put it on…so im lookin into it. what do u all know abt it?

before doing wuzu {ablution} for any namaaz if one is wearing any nail polish, u must remove it as water has to reach base of nails and it can't when nail polish is on, as it forms a base upon the nails.

hopefully that made sense

afterwards u can wear nailpolish but not at the time of wuzu {ablution} + {off topic slightly} nails should be cut after no more then 40 days, a timely reminder for the big nail keepng ladies
