Namaazay Parrho :bailan:

Re: Namaazay Parrho :bailan:

phatima1, great post, masha’Allah.

Unfortunately, it’s true how people born into Islam (including myself) take Islam so lightly, especially prayer and many other important religious aspects. Whereas, the the converts take whatever it does to make sure they practice Islam and read about it as much as they possibly can; even if it means hiding from their family and friends.

All those complaining about MSA, please try to ignore it and make duaa for those who talk, etc.

I know I’ve been guilty of it myself, but it’s best not to pinpoint mistakes and shortcomings in other people. Our goal is to offer salah, read Quran, etc. while in the prayer room and we should try our utmost to devote our attention to it. If it’s really that unbearable then please speak to the sisters present in the room to keep it down till you’re done praying. You shouldn’t worry about them getting mad or being rude, or not bash them at all. Again, this is also for me as I know I’ve been guilty of it in the past.

Foremost, make duaa that Allah (SWT) makes the MSA room more pleasant and worthwhile, insha’Allah.

May Allah (SWT) forgive us all, guide us all to the Straight path and keep us steadfast on it, ameen.
