Re: Namaazay Parrho ![]()
phatima1, great post, masha’Allah.
Unfortunately, it’s true how people born into Islam (including myself) take Islam so lightly, especially prayer and many other important religious aspects. Whereas, the the converts take whatever it does to make sure they practice Islam and read about it as much as they possibly can; even if it means hiding from their family and friends.
All those complaining about MSA, please try to ignore it and make duaa for those who talk, etc.
I know I’ve been guilty of it myself, but it’s best not to pinpoint mistakes and shortcomings in other people. Our goal is to offer salah, read Quran, etc. while in the prayer room and we should try our utmost to devote our attention to it. If it’s really that unbearable then please speak to the sisters present in the room to keep it down till you’re done praying. You shouldn’t worry about them getting mad or being rude, or not bash them at all. Again, this is also for me as I know I’ve been guilty of it in the past.
Foremost, make duaa that Allah (SWT) makes the MSA room more pleasant and worthwhile, insha’Allah.
May Allah (SWT) forgive us all, guide us all to the Straight path and keep us steadfast on it, ameen.
Re: Namaazay Parrho ![]()
This reminds me, I used to get irritated because guys used to recite Quran loud or talk loud. I spoke to one of the guy and he tried his best to make sure that the brothers keep it down while the sisters are there to pray and/or recite Quran.
Similarly, he also mentioned how the sisters side (including me) have been very loud and distracting. Therefore, we try our best to keep it down when the brothers are around. Otherwise, we go about talking casually. Also, we do try to make an effort to keep it down when there are other sisters in the room praying.
It’s all about getting the message across and foremost making duaa, insha’Allah.

ab tum bhee koi meaningful thread kholnay ki soocho.
waisay very nice to see a positive thing coming up on GS. If we here keep it up on such line all of us will be together in heaven ![]()
Re: Namaazay Parrho ![]()
Sara just remember, that line from one of the most famous hadiths. Hadith-e-jibrael.
Where Jibrael a.s. comes to the Prophet saw. in the form of a man.
And asks multitude of questions. One of them being what is ehsan?
THe prophet pbuh, answers ehsan is that you worship Allah as you see him, and if you can’t do that, then know that HE SEES YOU.
I’ve had this problem many times. Wether it be songs playing int he back or kids running around me.
But instead of setting ur focus on what you shud be saying, and what actions you shud be doing. Try to focus on this part of the hadith.
What I’m saying is, try to remember that Allah is watching, put ur mind at a focus where you realize that Allah is right in front of you. ANd He IS!
When you do that, you’ll never care about what happens around you, you will be so focused on your namaaz, that even a a-bomb can land next to you, and you won’t budge.

Great post Fatima…!
Although u’ll be further dissapointed with the behaviour of these ignorant noisy desi aunties in Haram Sharif (Makkah). Yes even there they shuv, push, yell and be might source of blantant arrogance and annoyance u can image. Its just so sorry to see them behave with such jahalath there. I mean if ppl can’t respect the etiquettes of such a holly place, then what better can u expect of them :-/

Re: Namaazay Parrho ![]()
Yea I heard something about I think it was Hazrat Ali who had gotten an arrow stuck in his leg, so they waited until he did his namaaz to pull it out, and because his imaan was so strong, and he was so focused in praying, they were able to take it out. ![]()
Re: Namaazay Parrho ![]()
Yea my dad told me about how people push and shove when they’re doing Hajj because there’s so many people (Alhumdulillah)…![]()
