namaaz

Guy i usually don’t offer namaaz, no lecture on nazaam please

my question is that now i want to offer namaaz but i can’t at work, so what i was thinking to offer fazar and zuhar in morning and the rest when i come back from work. Is that ok to do i mean zuhar before time is that ok ? and the rest kazaa namaaz atleast i am offering them right

and yeah friday (zuma) i am very very busy at that time what can do about that… the most i can do it to offer in my store but zuma has to be with jamaat ( in mousque) right :bummer:

salam....
u cannot offer zuhar prayer with fajar prayer....
if u have very sever conditions which do not permit u to pray, u can combine zuhar and asar and pray them combined during the time of zuhar and asar....
similarly u can combine maghrib and ishaa....

even if u r very busy at work, i dont think it wud be impossible to take out 5 minutes for ur prayer....
u can skip the sunnah and pray only the fardh rakaat....

and u have to pray the friday prayer in the mosque....
u cant pray it alone....

AmericanDesi,

None of us are perfect. i think the main issue here is that you feel sorry for not offering your namaaz regularly, and you want to do something about it. Last night i was reading through a couple of surahs and trying to understand their meanings; in the English approximate translation by Yusuf Ali, he was discussing how repentance and atonement are two necessary traits. And Masha’Allah i think you have both of them. At least you realize that namaaz is critical, and now you want to do something about it. Masha’Allah. :k:

Is it possible for you to offer more nafls, whenever you have the time? These can be as short as just two rakats; although of course these will not make up for not offering fardh, but - if God Wills - they will provide an opportunity for earning more sawaab. Try to build up a routine of offering your fardh namaaz, the first couple of days (or weeks even) will feel extremely difficult, but - after a month or so, it will become part of your routine. Do it as regularly as you are able to - pray to Allah to ask Him to make your niyat/intention sincere, and your deeds more regular. If you miss one fardh, offer that before you pray the next one; (so, for example, if you miss Asr, you should pray that before you pray Maghrib).

My final words - verse 78 from Surah alHajj might be quoted here: “[God] has not laid upon you in religion any hardship”. If we do all our actions with the intention of pleasing Allah - then Insha’Allah, He will help us in making it easier for us to carry out our religious duties.

assalamolaikum :jhanda:

brov’ did u say zuma what??? do u mean jumma namaz.

what is zuma anyways u can’t offer zuhar prayer with fajar prayer as u have to do each prayer when the time correctly permits them, i.e. fajar in morning and zuhar after midday (current timing in england) etc etc.

if u run your own store i’m sure you can close it for a hour or so to pray jumma namaz with jammat at mosque as it can’t be prayed alone and did u know you can’t miss 3 jumma’s in a row its considered to be very bad.

Guys i agree but beleive me i don’t own that store and i am extermely busy at jumma time…

so the thing i am going to do is to offer fazar in morning and the rest in night time… is that ok or else i don’t have any choice

please help me with jumma namaz… still confused :bummer:

I dont know if this will assist you, but here it is: From Sahih Bukhari:

Volume 1, Book 8, Number 417:
Narrated 'Itban bin Malik:

who was one of the companions of Allah's Apostle and one of the Ansar's who took part in the battle of Badr: I came to Allah's Apostle and said, "O Allah's Apostle I have weak eyesight and I lead my people in prayers. When it rains the water flows in the valley between me and my people so I cannot go to their mosque to lead them in prayer. O Allah's Apostle! I wish you would come to my house and pray in it so that I could take that place as a Musalla. Allah's Apostle said. "Allah willing, I will do so." Next day after the sun rose high, Allah's Apostle and Abu Bakr came and Allah's Apostle asked for permission to enter. I gave him permission and he did not sit on entering the house but said to me, "Where do you like me to pray?" I pointed to a place in my house. So Allah's Apostle stood there and said, 'Allahu Akbar', and we all got up and aligned behind him and offered a two-Rak'at prayer and ended it with Taslim. We requested him to stay for a meal called "Khazira" which we had prepared for him. Many members of our family gathered in the house and one of them said, "Where is Malik bin Al-Dukhaishin or Ibn Al-Dukhshun?" One of them replied, "He is a hypocrite and does not love Allah and His Apostle." Hearing that, Allah's Apostle said, "Do not say so. Haven't you seen that he said, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah' for Allah's sake only?" He said, "Allah and His Apostle know better. We have seen him helping and advising hypocrites." etc...

Re: namaaz

DUDE its called “SALAT” not Namaz ACHA!

At the moment..from Zero Salat to offering them at night does sound good.

As for Jumma Namaz, try your best to attend it..if you still cant then ask forgiveness from Allah SWT and make up Zuhr namaz instead.
