Excellent topic. It is really sad to see how the majority of us forget to fulfil our obligations at such events. Especially weddings.
We spend hours making sure all the wedding arrangements and rasms etc run smoothly but forget to allocate time for prayer and no one seems guilty for neglecting a fard.
A fard which the prophet SAW described as 'the coolness of my eyes' :(
I find it very sad.
And to make matters worse aunties give you the 'quit being so religious look' when you mention prayer time. I hate to say, but it often feels like you are the only muslim at the wedding.
From what I've seen, the people always spreads sheets for praying. If the sheets are clean then it's fine from what I know.

but i may be going on to ask a stupid question, but i was told your not supposed to be reading numaz in a room in which alcohol is consumed daily?
