They should punish parents who have issues with daughters. It's a shame.

Razia to her jagah ghundon main phansi hui hai.

In Pakistan, Bint-e-Hawa is also unwanted for many. Remember last week's incident in Karachi, where husband killed her pregnant wife when he knew that she is going to give birth a baby girl.

If Hindus of India forget status of woman as Sita, Radha, etc, we Pakistani also don't remember affection and respect given by Rasoolallah (SAW) to her daughters especially Hazrat Fatima (RA). If they had made Sita 'Sati', we should also not forget exploitation of women in Pakistan in the name of 'Karo-Kari', 'Vani', etc.

In fact, the issue for non-acceptance / unwanted girls is not created by religions, its the social problems / traditions (Dowry, etc) of an area that make parents unhappy when they are blessed with girls.
